Inspiring Journeys has announced its new 2025/2026 season itineraries, featuring three brand-new tours that promise to uncover the best-kept secrets of Australia.

To celebrate, Inspiring Journeys is offering travellers the opportunity to save up to $5,200 per couple on selected itineraries, which includes additional savings for those who book early.

The 2025/2026 season tour highlights span both Australia and New Zealand, featuring new tours across Western Australia, South Australia and Tasmania and new experiences added to itineraries across New Zealand.

New Inspiring Journeys tours include an 11-Day tour of Kimberley Gorges and Gibb River Road, a 7-Day Tasting Tasmania and Flinders Island journey, and a 7-Day South Australia Murray River Cruise and Wine itinerary.

The brand is also welcoming a multitude of new elements to it’s New Zealand tours, including accommodations at Furneaux Lodge in the Marlborough Sounds as well as Trinity Wharf Tauranga and Lake Ōhau lodge in addition to experiences like visiting the Hobbiton Movie Set and Overland Gannett Safaris.

New tours

South Australia Murray River Cruise & Wine Journey

Travellers will experience true exploration of South Australia’s most scenic and serene landscapes, combined with an indulgent culinary journey. From the vibrant flavours of Adelaide’s famous Central Market, to a gin-blending masterclass at the 23rd Distillery, after which they will unwind on a tranquil Murray River cruise aboard the Proud Mary riverboat. Along the way, the tour highlights the rich wildlife, charming river communities and unique blend of history and modernity in destinations like Mannum and Berri. Expect dining riverside under the stars with local entertainment, and exploring the Monarto Safari Park with canapés
and sparkling wine in hand!

Kimberley Gorges & Gibb River Road Journey

For those seeking adventure in one of Australia’s most rugged and remote regions, the Kimberley Gorges and Gibb River Road tour brings guests the best of the outback. The itinerary features tranquil cruises through the Ord River and Chamberlain Gorge, dips in hidden spots like Barker Pool, and stays at secluded lodges such as Mount Hart Wilderness Lodge and Bungle Bungle Savannah Lodge. Guests will get to take in the dramatic landscapes of the Kimberley, from the iconic orange and black striped Bungle Bungle domes to the warm thermal waters of Zebedee Springs. With guided tours of Windjana Gorge and Tunnel Creek, this itinerary is perfect for travellers who want to experience the raw beauty of Australia’s northern wilderness.

Tasting Tasmania & Flinders Island Journey

Tasmania’s north, coupled with the remote beauty of Flinders Island, ensures travellers get hits of nature, history, and gastronomy on this new tour. Guests will experience culinary highlights through Launceston, a UNESCO City of Gastronomy, with the itinerary featuring everything from paddock-to-plate dining to seafood feasts with local specialties. The itinerary also features scenic flights over the breathtaking Bay of Fires and Wineglass Bay, and a stay at the iconic Barnbougle Lost Farm Links Golf Course! With accommodations in serene locations like Freycinet Lodge and Barnbougle, this tour is designed for those who want to relax and indulge while exploring Tasmania’s hidden treasures.

Ben Hall.
