7travel celebrated its first twelve months in style last week with an exclusive cocktail function at the network’s studios in Eveleigh, Sydney.
“7travel is a unique hybrid. It’s a media business and a travel business,” said Seven’s Head of Travel Sally McFadyen.
“The demand from Seven Network’s audiences to have the ability to book what they see on TV was so great that we jumped on the perfect opportunity to invest in travel.”
Sunrise presenters David Koch and Natalie Barr opened the evening by thanking the travel industry for their support.
Both presenters spoke passionately about the importance of travel within their show – Australia’s most-watched breakfast show – and how 7travel has been able to close the gap between travel aspiration and reality.
As the evening so clearly displayed, 7travel works intimately with the highest rated TV shows on the Seven Network including Sunrise, The Morning Show, Better Homes & Gardens and My Kitchen Rules to integrate travel organically, and showcase domestic and international destinations on a large scale while servicing a direct call to action for fulfilment through their product partnership with Ignite Travel Group.
