Located in cosmopolitan Vaporia in Ermoupolis, Syros, the Argini Hotel has opened its doors at the world’s second most welcoming city for 2024.

Built in 1853 to house the family of Gregoris Paikos, a leading figure in the Greek Revolution, Argini Hotel was renovated with ethos, modern artistry, and utter respect to its neoclassical history.

The new owners have placed importance on its preservation, resulting in an amalgam of original elements and modern design to make the hotel a destination of its own.

The 11-room hotel conveys a strong sense of place that elevates this mansion-turned-hotel into a true masterclass in design.

Ceiling and wall frescoes, meticulously preserved by Cleopatra Tsourakis give the Argini Hotel with an unparalleled old-world charm and reference the island’s heritage.

The originality of the building meets a raft of modern comforts and contemporary flair with designer elements by global houses like Gessi, Flos, Artemide, Panzeri, TOOY, ΑSTRO, Poltrona Frau, and Buster and Punch among others.

It also showcases an exquisitely curated selection of marbles like Covelano Macchia Vecchia, Azul Cielo, Grigio Carnico and many others.

For a truly elevated stay, Argini provides guests with access to an indoor pool complete with warm water and a jacuzzi as well as a hammam.

Guests can slip into the plunge pool from the rooftop, enjoy signature classics or creative cocktails with Greek twists at the rooftop bar, and take in the captivating views of Vaporia and the neighboring islands.

The gastronomic experience is offered by Athenian powerhouse Trastelis Group. Chef Nikos Stamatis creates a menu with fresh produce and regional ingredients in a dynamic culinary approach toward international recipes.

The wine list is also meticulously curated including selections of Cycladic, Greek and international wines.
