Edited by Travel Weekly

Plaza Premium Lounge Brisbane Airport will close its doors on 30 June and relocate from its current location to a new home near Gate 77.

Plaza Premium Lounge has provided hospitality and services to travellers at Brisbane Airport since officially opening in 2017.

The decision to relocate Plaza Premium Lounge Brisbane Airport is part of its ongoing commitment
to providing travellers with world-class lounge experiences, it said in a statement.

“Plaza Premium Lounge is working closely with Brisbane Airport Corporation and our valued clients to facilitate a smooth transition for our valued guests” Plaza Premium Group, general manager Oceania, Poh Kiat Lee, said.

Brisbane Airport head of commercial property development, Toby Innes, said passengers will continue to enjoy the Plaza Premium Lounge experience with the opening of the new lounge in July.

“The new space offers close-up views of Brisbane Airport and demand from operators to take over this area has been strong,” he said.

“Travellers through Brisbane are well serviced by lounge options and with Delta Air Lines and American Airlines joining the BNE family by the end of the year, the number of international passengers will continue to grow.”

The new Plaza Premium Lounge Brisbane Airport will be located on Level 3, near Gate 77 just minutes away from the main departure hall. The fresh location will feature floor-to-ceiling windows, an array of international cuisine and handcrafted barista coffee, comfortable seating, VIP and Children’s Rooms, as well as shower amenities for guests to refresh before their flight.

The new location will add to Plaza Premium Lounge’s locations in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.
