APT-owned budget operator Travelmarvel has expanded into South America for the first time with the launch of a dedicated brochure.
The inaugural program features four itineraries ranging from 20 to 27 days with departures between April and October 2013.
APT general manager marketing Debra Fox said the continent was becoming increasingly popular.
“Our repeat Travelmarvel customers want to go there,” she said. “South America is a compelling destination, embracing a profusion of cultural influences, exotic destinations and extraordinary people.”Product includes the must-see attractions including Machu Picchu, Iguazzu Falls, Rio and the Amazon.
The lead in tour is the 20-day Highlights of South America priced from $8495 per person which starts in Buenos Aires and takes in Iguazzu, Rio, Santiago, Lima, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Lake Titicaca.
The program also features the Galapagos Islands with a four night catamaran cruise.
