Alaska Bound, Australia’s first exclusively Alaska wholesale specialist, and sister company the Small Ship Adventure Company have been sold to Asia Pacific Travel Marketing Services (APTMS).
The acquisitions represent APTMS’ first Alaskan and cruising ventures.
APTMS managing director Kylee Kay said the brands were a good fit for the Canada specialist wholesaler which is celebrating its 25th year in operation this year.
“We feel that we are well placed for greater product offering, equally excellent service, and growth in the North American and global arenas with products such as Zegrahm Expeditions and Alaska Dream,” Kay said.
The sale sees Maryann Anderson bid farewell to the brands she founded, strating with Alaska Bound back in 1999.
However, daughter Suzannah Cowley, who established Small Ship Adventure Company with her mother in 2009, will move over to APTMS as sales and marketing director.
