Accor staff right across Australia are still recovering after finishing a three day race around the Blue Mountains to raise money for charity.
More than 20 Accor teams took part in the ‘Race to Survive’ fundraising event, which included abseiling, trail running, orienteering and white water rafting in the Blue Mountains.
Novotel Wollongong Northbeach took home the trophy for the second year in a row, but the combined efforts raised a whopping $260,000 for Mission Australia to help homeless and disadvantaged people across Australia.
Accor chief operating officer Pacific Simon McGrath congratulated all participants for supporting a good cause.
“Race to Survive is just one initiative where our staff can come together from all corners of the country for a common cause and help others in need,” he said.
