Africa was on show to a number of MICE agents at a Destination Marketing Services (DMS) and Dragonfly Africa event in Sydney last week.

Held at Blue Sydney last Tuesday, guests enjoyed drinks and canapés while learning about the latest product in southern and eastern Africa.

Dragonfly Africa director of sales and marketing, Yolanda Woeke-Jacobs, also explained how the strong Aussie dollar is encouraging more MICE business to the region.

“The South African rand, which was relatively strong against the Australian dollar, has now weakened, making programs 15% more affordable,” she said.
