Virgin Australia's proposed acquisition of 100% of Skywest has been sanctioned by the High Court of Singapore, with the deal on track for completion as planned.
Today is the last day of trading of Skywest shares on the ASX and on the London Stock Exchange. As outlined last week, the regional carrier is expected to be removed from the ASX on April 11.
However, Virgin stressed the acquisition remains subject to certain conditions.
The Foreign Investment Review Board last week confirmed it has no objections to the deal.
