Etihad Airways has appointed Lindsay White, formerly its general manager Australia and New Zealand, as regional general manager for Asia Pacific South and Australasia.
White replaces Cramer Ball who has been seconded to Air Seychelles as its new chief executive with immediate effect.
The airline is in the process of recruiting a new local general manager
Etihad regional finance manager Asia Pacific Shelley Cole will also be seconded to Air Seychelles to take on the role of chief financial officer.
The secondments form part of a major restructure of Air Seychelles being carried out jointly by the Seychelles government and Etihad, who acquired a 40% stake in the airline last week.
In a further reshuffle, Craig Thomas, previously country manager Thailand and Mekong, will step into the role of state manager Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.
