The Australian market continues to flourish for US-based hospitality group Denihan, with revenue growing 65% in each of the past three years.

Australia is now Denihan’s number two source country after the UK and its “fastest growing” international market.
While vice president sales and marketing Rose Genovese admitted the strength of the dollar had been “helping things along”,  the group’s strong presence in Aussie hotspot New York was a major factor.
In addition, many of Denihan’s properties offer apartment-style facilities which cater well to Australians who stay longer, she said.
Genovese also said the past three years had revealed a growing love of food and wine among Australian guests who were attracted to the hotel chain’s high profile chefs and restaurants.
Denihan has just launched its Dine and Dish offer to the Australian market which hopes to tap into that trend. Under the offer, a three-night accommodation package including an “interactive” meal for two with the executive chef, a kitchen tour and a cookbook is priced from US$1100.
