Trevor Jones, managing director of Hawthorn Travel in Victoria wasted no time in tapping into a new market following the announcement by Virgin Australia earlier this week that pets will start to earn Velocity frequent points.
Hawthorn Travel staff were hounded when Travel Today broke news of the Velocity pet scheme, which means their owners can now earn points if their furry companions travel with them.
But, as our photos illustrate, while some of the pooches were all ears and listened intently, others became distracted (we’re not sure by what), while one or two became a little demanding and slapped their paws on Trevor’s desk.
All reports suggest the agency picked up many leads……
