Travelling in comfort can often be a challenge, with crumpled, stinky and uncomfortable clothing often making the journey more unpleasant that it needs to be.
But a range of bamboo clothing has been described as ideal for travelling by its creators Witjuti being easy to fit in a suitcase and “more breathable” than cotton clothing.
The "stylish and comfortable" sustainable range has been selected as one of the world’s top 500 ethical fashion labels.
“Witjuti believes that we can look after our customers in stylish and comfortable clothing but also help care for our planet,” founder and designer Banika Smee said.
“Our bamboo clothes are flexible, natural, eco-friendly, hypo-allergenic and comfortable yet stylish enough to wear anywhere.”
She described the organic, high-quality bamboo used as a “very green” plant because it is grown without pesticides or chemical fertilisers, requires no irrigation, can be harvested in just three years, absorbs 35% more carbon dioxide than other trees, inhibits soil erosion and is totally biodegradable.
“So it appeals to people who support ethical fashion and environmental sustainability,” Smee said.
We’ve got one wrap cardigan (RRP $74.95) and maxi dress (RRP $79.95) set up for grabs for the ladies and a hoodie (RRP $79.95) and lounge pant (RRP$79.95) set for the gents.
