The acquisition of Alaska-based USTravel (UST) will see Corporate Travel Management continue its expansion into the US, with the firm to become its regional headquarters for the Pacific Northwest.
The deal, effective from July 1, takes CTM into more than 17 cities across seven states, and positions it as one of the largest travel management companies in the Pacific Northwest region.
“We are delighted to have UST become our regional base for the Pacific Northwest,” managing director Jamie Pherous said.
“It possesses all the qualities that we look for, having a great service reputation, a dedicated team and great management.”
Alongside CTM’s offices in the central and southern US, CTM is better placed to leverage combined buying power, client facing solutions and support expertise, he added.
Meanwhile, UST welcomed the opportunity to expand its global reach.
“”UST will add new opportunities to network both US and international clients and work with other CTM offices to support their US-based clients as well,” president Linda Eliason said.
