TV chef Manu Feildel and ‘Cruise for Mates’ creator Hilary Weir joined Avalon Waterways to toast the success of its river cruise charity departures.
Manu recently returned from a Cruise for Mates voyage along the Seine and Rhone rivers on Avalon’s Grand France itinerary, joining other celebrity chefs to raise funds to support fellow chef Matt Golinski and his chosen charities.
The special Cruise for Mates departures are chartered by Hilary Weir, the owner and director of Harvey World Travel Garden City in Brisbane.
Upcoming departures include a Cruise for Mates World Series Cricket reunion in July-August next year, involving cricket legends Rod Marsh, Greg Chappell, Bruce Laird, Dennis Lillee and Jeff Thompson cruising between Amsterdam and Budapest.
