All departures of Contiki's Asian itineraries will go ahead in 2013, the youth operator has confirmed as it reported "unprecedented" demand for the program.
Managing director Fiona Hunt revealed Cambodia, China, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam continue to prove popular with the Australian youth travel market with considerable growth seen since the program's launch in 2009.
"From an Australian perspective, sales across our Asia program are up on last year fuelled by the ongoing strength of the Australian dollar, value for money in Asian destinations and the attractiveness of the Asia destination and the Contiki product," she said.
Hunt identified young professionals as a particular success story for the brand, with the program's shorter itineraries squeezing a multi-country Asian experience into annual leave allocations.
The range is also proving popular with young travellers choosing to stopover in Asia en route to Europe, she added.
Contiki is offering discounts of up to 7.5% per person when booked and paid in full by March 28.
