Emirates has launched a new video-based campaign which aims to showcase the linguistic skills of its crew while building "cultural understanding".
The "Share a Smile" campaign is the latest step in the airline's Hello Tomorow campaign which launched in April last year.
The series of 29 15-second animated videos feature Emirates cabin crew expressing "quirky and unusual" expressions and greetings in 14 languages from around the world, such as the Russian "Don't make an elephant out of a fly" or the Cantonese "You're so pretty it made a bang".
Executive vice president Sir Maurice Flanagan explained the sentiment of the unusual phrases, when explained, "resonate internationally".
"The campaign is a celebration of how a kind word or phrase can connect friends and strangers alike across the world," he said.
