A range of new features have been added to Sydney’s Event Showcase to spice up the 2012 show.
To be held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre (SCEC) on August 15-16, the show will feature interactive experiences, more networking experiences and a range of entertainment acts.
International experts, including Andrea Michaels and Corbin Ball will also deliver seminars on industry trends, while other speakers will touch on creativity and the business of events.
With just one week to go, event director Rowan Marchingo expects the 2012 showcase to trump last year’s event.
“Sydney’s Event Showcase 2012 will become what it promotes, a special event that delivers serious business returns for all involved,” he said. “This year’s showcase will be an exhibition like no other.”
The annual event will run alongside the Australian Business Events Expo, which will open with a master class seminar led by guest presenters from Business Events Sydney and Destination NSW on the same day.
Back by popular demand, the ‘taste kitchen’ will return this year, while a new interactive lounge is new this year, which allows visitors to contribute their thoughts to an ‘ideas wall’.
Attendees are encouraged to download the smart phone app, provided by ShowGizmo, which provides full details of all exhibitors and allows attendees to schedule events during the show.
A total 180 exhibitor stands have been confirmed for the free event. A full schedule of events is available at www.sydney.rsvpevent.com.au.
