Mantra Group has officially launched its Peppers brand in Asia with the rebranding of the Sentosa Seminyak in Bali.
The 49-villa property, now called Peppers Sentosa Seminyak, is the second for Mantra in Indonesia following the opening of the Mantra Nusa Dua in late 2012.
Further expansion across its brands is expected in Indonesia later this year with Thailand and Malaysia also on the agenda by the end of 2014.
“Travellers from Australia and New Zealand, familiar with the Peppers brand at home, will now be able to have the Peppers experience in one of our most popular overseas destinations,” Mantra chief executive Bob East said.
“The emerging middle class in Indonesia is also a growing market and we are confident the Peppers style and service will resonate with them.”
Mantra plans to open a further eight, one and two bedroom villas at the resort by the end of the year, joining the existing 49 three, four and five bedroom villas.
