The search is underway for a new global head office for retail giant Flight Centre, with the firm hinting further growth is on the agenda.
Flight Centre confirmed it it considering the relocation of its Queen Street base in Brisbane and has called for expressions of interest from suitable properties in the city's CBD or surrounding areas.
The consolidation of its Brisbane Street and Adelaide Street premises is also a possibility, it revealed.
National property manager, Clay Novello, said he is looking for properties with 15,000-20,000 square metres of floor space which can accommodate 1,800 sales and support staff.
"Now is an opportune time to consider the options that are available to us, with a view to securing a longer term base that will accommodate the compnay's future growth needs," he said.
