The Travel Corporation has concluded its lengthy search for a new chief for AAT Kings, with the appointment of former Tourism Queensland chief executive, Anthony Hayes.
Hayes, who departed TQ after seven years in August, will step into the role of global managing director AAT Kings on February 11.
John Weeks, the firm's chief executive Australia, said an extensive search had been undertaken to fill the role, vacated by Tammy Marshall who became senior vice president of P&O Cruises in September.
"With his impressive leadership skills and extensive global marketing expertise, Anthony clearly demonstrated great credentials for this position," Weeks said.
Meanwhile, Hayes underlined "aggressive plans" for the growth of the brand in the coming years.
He also takes on responsibility for Inspiring Journeys, Aussie Adventure and Darwin Day Tours.
