Jetstar will make its first international flight out of Adelaide on December 16 with the launch of a three times weekly service to Auckland.

Flights in a single class A320 will operate every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

Regular fares start from $229 one way.

“The customer response to our trans-Tasman flying has been strong over the past few years and we’re delighted to now introduce direct flights from Adelaide to Auckland,” Jetstar Group chief commercial officer David Koczkar said.

“We believe the introduction of low fares on this routes will make Auckland a much more accessible and affordable destinations for Adelaide travellers.”
