A new global sales incentive from Travel Counsellors will see all of its 1,300 consultants in the running to win a luxury trip to Caribbean island St Lucia later this year.
The TC Treasures of the Caribbean incentive in partnership with the Virgin Atlantic, Harlequin Hotels and Resorts and Sandals, is hosted through the company’s intranet system and will see 32 global teams compete in multiple challenges each day over a four week period.
Accor has raised its EBIT target for 2013 on the back of revenue growth of 2.8% for the year, with chief executive Sebastian Bazin describing the performance as a "solid improvement".
The hotel firm now expects to raise around 530 million euro, up from its previous estimate of between 510m euro and 530m euro.

Cathay Pacific and Dragonair carried a combined total of 2,604,115 passengers in December, representing an increase of 3.3% on the same month last year.
Load factor climbed 1.7 percentage points to 82.4% as capacity rose 3.2%.
Passenger numbers increased 3.3% for the full year despite a capacity decrease of 1.8%.

Luxury cruise line Silversea has launched its new Travel Journal, with the 20th anniversary edition in a new “all-in-one” format.
The new Travel Journal consolidates the traditional assortment of loose documents, containing the cruise ticket, hotel and/or land program information if arranged through Silversea, personalised voyage itinerary, shore excursion details and other useful information.
Accor’s upscale Pullman brand has debuted in Ho Chi Minh City with the opening of Pullman Saigon Centre in the city’s District 1.
