Travelport has named Mark Meehan as its new managing director for Asia Pacific, replacing Patrick Andres.

Currently managing director for Travelport Africa, Meehan has held a number of high profile positions at the firm over a 15 year period.

He will take up the Singapore-based role in April, replacing Andres who leaves the company at the end of April to pursue other opportunities in the hospitality technology and distribution sector.

For a limited time, Contiki is offering 20% off six incredible trips through Europe. The tours range from month long adventures across Europe, sun-soaked holidays en route to Greece, and foodie tours from Rome to Paris.

Deals are based on a first-book basis, with savings of up to $1319 available.

Excite Holidays has appointed Damian Sutton as its new chief technology officer, following on from his roles at Intrepica and Wotif Group.

In 2015, Cunard is promising travellers its most diverse Europe program yet, as part of the celebrations marking the cruise line’s 175th anniversary.

Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria will traverse 16 seas and visit 96 destinations in 35 countries. The ships will stop at seven inaugural ports, and offer 24 overnight stays in spectacular locations like Monte Carlo, Venice, Amsterdam and Istanbul.

Today, MSC Cruises announced a new deal with STX France for two new ships to be built for delivery in 2017 and 2019.
