Uluru boutique tented property Longitude 131° will be operated by Baillie Lodges under a new deal with Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia.
Under the agreement, the property will be refurbished and expanded, with the addition of a new dune pool area, more experiences and new “canopy” suites.
“We are delighted that we have reached an agreement with James and Hayley Baillie over the operation of Longitude 131° and look forward to seeing the property grow and improve under their direction”, Voyages managing director Koos Klein said.
Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Club Cruises will be closed for business from midday (EST) on Saturday October 26 until 11.15am (EST) Monday October 28 due to system maintenance.
During this time, bookings will not be able to be processed online or via our call centre.
The cruise operators apologised for any inconvenience and stressed the times should be referred to as a guide only.
Jetstar’s Australian customers will gain an extra 15 minutes when checking in for their short-haul A320 international flights as the airline moves to align procedures for all of its branded airlines.
As of Sunday October 27, check-in for A320 international services departing from Australia will close 45 minutes before departure.
“Jetstar is aligning its policies to make the experience of flying across the Asia Pacific region as seamless as possible for customers,” the airline said.
Check-in will continue to close 60 minutes before departure for Jetstar’s long-haul A330 and 787 services.
Captain Cook Cruises has appointed Ivy Lee to the position of sales manager Greater China as it seeks to capitalise on the potential of the growing Chinese market.
Lee has worked with Captain Cook Cruises since 2006, most recently in the international sales team.
“We view the Greater China market as already having enormous potential for our dining product on Sydney Harbour, as well as introducing the relatively new destination of Kangaroo Island to China,” head of sales and marketing Richard Doyle said.
