Corinne Namblard has stood down from her position as director of the Qantas board, following reports of corruption allegations in Italy. While Namblard reportedly "strenuously denied" any wrongdoing during her time as chief executive of Luxembourg-based Galaxy Fund, chairman Leigh Clifford said she was concerned that the media focus on the matter would "distract Qantas from implementing its strategic imperatives".
