Etihad Airways has introduced a range of new benefits for its top tier Gold Elite frequent flyer members.
Benefits include: an increase in tier bonus miles from 50% to 75%; complimentary Guest Gold membership for an additional person; check-in at the Diamond First Class counter regardless of class of travel; lounge passes for an accompanying guest; and a guaranteed Pearl Business Class seat on an Etihad-operated flight if booked at least 48 before departure.
Metro Hotels has entered into a management agreement to operate 16 apartments in the 97-unit G60 Apartments development in Gladstone, Queensland.
The apartments are now open for trading.
Hahn Air Systems has introduced a new H1 code to enable operators that do not have a two-letter code to sell their products through the inventory and reservation system.
The new system enables agents to book a range of additional products from rail to tours using the new code. It also ecompasses airlines which do not have two-letter codes such as smaller operators. Clients under the H1 code include WOW Air, Danube Wings, Air Timor and Westbahn among others.
Youth operator Contiki has unveiled its 2013-15 Latin America program, featuring two new tours.
The new 26-day Galapagos & Andes tour is priced from $6845 per person while the 37-day Latin Quest tour starts from $10399.

Shout, the travel app from Contiki designed to connect passengers before, during and after their trip, is now available as an Android app.
The app follows the iOS version released in September, with the youth operator reporting a good uptake so far to date.
