Princess Cruises has appointed its first brand specific public relations manager for Australia and New Zealand, labelling the move an "important step" in its growth story. Meg Koffel, formerly of Intrepid Travel, takes on the role this month.

 

China Southern Airlines has extended service reductions on its Guangzhou-London Heathrow route, now scheduled to return to daily from five times weekly from June 5, according to website Airline Route. The reduction was originally in place until March 30.

 

Regional carrier Skywest Airlines grew its capacity by 39.2% in December, with load factor slipping 4.62% as the hikes outpaced traffic increases of 15.8%. It carried 28,000 passengers during the month.

 

Registrations are now open for Peru Travel Mart, to take place in Lima from May 23 to 26. Tourism body PromPeru expects it to be the destination's biggest travel mart to date. For more details visit http://www.perutravelmart.com.pe/.

 

Tempo Holidays has warned that its range of 2013 Anzac Day tours in Gallipoli are filling up fast. The operator urged agents to "get in quick" to secure the final places on its three, five and nine-day itineraries which depart in April.

 

Wild Bush Luxury's three-night Arkaba Walk in South Australia's Flinders Ranges, will include a night's accommodation at the privately owned Arkaba Homestead from March 14. The stay at the homestead replaces the third and final night of the itinerary, previously hosted at Merna Merna Camp.
