Viewers around the world will witness the Duchess of Cambridge christen Princess Cruises' Royal Princess in Southampton on Thursday via a live weblink to be found at www.princesscruises.com.

The live streaming will begin at 8.15pm AEST with viewers able to participate by using the social media hashtag #RoyalPrincess.

China Southern will deploy a new Airbus A330-300 aircraft on its Sydney-Guangzhou route from July 11 as it continues to upgrade its Australian network.

The new aircraft features 30 lie-flat beds in business class, 48 seats in premium economy and 197 seats in economy.

It follows the recent introduction of A330-200 aircraft to Brisbane and Perth routes, and the announcement that an A380 will be deployed on its Sydney route from October 28. A new A3303-300 will also fly from Melbourne later in the year.

GTA has signed a deal with Preferred Hotel Group to increase the worldwide visibility of its 650-strong portfolio. GTA will begin integrating the Preferred systems before going live for bookings.

Youth operator Busabout has appointed Tina McIntosh, formerly of Nickelodeon and MTV, as its new general manager of sales and marketing in Australia.

Air New Zealand will increase capacity between Wellington and Queenstown by 44% each week from July through to mid-October. Much of the extra capacity will be achieved by upgrading the 68-seat ATR turboprops currently used on the route to Boeing 737-300 aircraft.

A new "Sell three and get one free" incentive across the Busabout, Haggis and Shamrocker brands has been launched to coincide with its June sale.

Agents must three of any of the same category of products from the following "on sale" categories in June to be eligible to receive one for themselves: all hop-on hop-off passes; all five-day and over Haggis and Shamrocker tours; all Eastern Europe tours; Croatia sailing tours; Scandinavia and Baltics tours; Turkey sail tours.

Back-Roads Touring is offering up to 15% off selected September departures of its 7-day Croatia & the Dalmatian Coast journey.

The trip, which takes in Split, Korcula, Kotor and Dubrovnik, is priced at $2291 after a 15% discount for departures on September 16 and 23. The Septembe 9 departure is priced from $2426 after a 10% discount.
