The management rights for Horizons Resort Jindabyne have been acquired by Amalgamated Holdings Ltd (AHL) with the property to be rebranded as Rydges Horizons Snowy Mountains.

The 120 self-contained apartments are expected to "complement" the firm's ski resort operation in Thredbo.

 

G Adventures is urging Australian and New Zealand travel agents to register and book before the June 30 closing date for its Uber Massive Incentive 2013.

Travelport has launched its Mobile Agent tool in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Taiwan.

Travelport-connected agents using the Galileo GDS platform are now able to download Travelport Mobile Agent to access and modify bookings on-the-go via their iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch or Android devices.

 

South African Airways has been awarded International Air Transport Association Environmental Assessment stage one status, in recognition of its group environment strategy.

It becomes one of the first airlines in Africa and one of six in the world to achieve the status.

 

RV rental company Britz will launch in the US, to be operated by the company that also operates Road Bear RV.

Vehicles can be booked from August and will be available for hire from November in Denver, Los Angeles, New York, Orlando and San Francisco.
