Jetset Travelworld Group has confirmed a replacement for Peter Beveridge has been found after four months of searching, with Qantas' head of IT, David Hassan, to take on the vacant chief information officer role.
Beveridge called it a day back in April, one week before wholesale group general manager Michael Londregan also decided to walk.
Hassan will take up the position on October 8, putting an end to his three years at Qantas where he was accountable for "end to end" running of all IT processes across digital, customer, marketing and sales channels.
In his new role, Hassan will work across the entire JTG group including Helloworld-related projects.
Chief operating and chief financial officer, Elizabeth Gaines, highlighted his "comprehensive technology and strategic planning background."
"During his time at Qantas, David defined the Qantas.com re-platforming strategy, delivered the Qantas Mobile app and initiated and designed the Emirates partnership technology program," she said.
"At JTG, we will maximise his experience to achieve our business goals."
