Vanuatu will showcase its outer islands during this year’s Tok Tok in a revamp of the industry trade show.

The event will take place across Efate, Espiritu Santo and Tanna between August 29 and 31 with organisers hoping it will further promote destinations beyond Port Vila.
An industry forum will be staged in the capital on August 29 after which attendees can select to visit either Tanna or Espirito Santo where they will overnight on August 30. Hotel inspections, activities and evening event will take place on both islands.
Tok Tok will conclude on August 31 with a product showcase and dinner back in Port Vila.
Vanuatu Tourism Office general manager Linda Kalpoi said: “We felt it was time to change the format to ensure we showcase more of Vanuatu to our international buyers, and the new format will give attendees more time to see what is on offer in Vanuatu.
“The forum on day one will also allow industry to discuss challenges and opportunities for the industry.”
Registrations for Tok Tok will open on April 30.
