The Australia manager of Swiss International Air Lines, Anil Rodricks, has been named the new chairman of the Star Alliance country steering committee.
Rodricks will chair all Star Alliance network activities in Australia, liaising with industry partners and promoting the alliance's global network.
He underlined the alliance’s plan to continue to work closely with industry partners in Australia.
"Star Alliance has always enjoyed strong support from Australian travel professionals and we will continue to look for opportunities to deliver effective training programs and attractive sales incentives to help travel consultants sell more Star Alliance products,” he said.
Rodricks takes over the role from former Air Canada General Manager Australia and New Zealand Jeannie Foster.
