Avianca, TACA Airlines and Copa Airlines have joined Star Alliance adding five hubs and almost 50 airports in the Americas to its network.
The integration of the three Latin American carriers takes the alliance to a total 1356 airports in 193 countries.
“The addition of these quality aviation groups strengthens our presence in the rapidly growing Latin American market,” chief executive Mark Schwab said.
