International visitors to Taiwan will have free access to the Internet across the country under changes designed to boost its tourism appeal.
WiFi hotspots have been set up at 4,400 locations including tourist spots, transportation hubs, cultural establishments and government offices all over the island.
Taiwan Tourism said the new service will "considerably brighten Taiwan's already shining image for quality travel services".
Travellers can apply for an iTaiwan account upon arrival at Taoyuan International Airport, at the Taiwan Tourism service counter or at any visitor centre.
