The great thing about my job is… That I get to work with creative destination management companies (DMCs) who give me an opportunity to see countries from the 'wow' angle compared to how I would if I was just on holiday, and the ability for me to share this with clients.
The challenge for our industry is… Every natural disaster that occurs and the rise and fall of economies around the world.

The biggest thing in MICE this year will be… The fiercely competitive playground where you need to provide creative, exclusive and sustainable incentive programs that are value for money, in order to win the business. Fortunately, our DMCs and hotel partners are well equipped to handle the sensitivity of this trend.
I try to relax by… Listening to music, lying on a beach and reading books.
I don't understand why… People go out of their way to be nasty when it's so much easier being nice.
Currently the album playing on my iPod is… Brothers In Harmony – three young talents who have a passion for music in their souls; two of them happen to be my sons Zakariah & Christian.
My favourite venue is… Too many unique ones to choose from!
