Tiger Airways maintained its position in April as the airline with the highest percentage of on time arrivals and departures.
Nine out of 10 of its flights left and arrived on schedule as it continued to operate on a reduced basis, with Qantas in second place.
The flag carrier operated 86.5% of its departures and 85.8% of its arrivals on time. Virgin Australia came third with 81.8% of flights leaving, and 81.1% arriving on time, followed by Jetstar with 77.7% and 78.5%.
Regional Express was the best performing regional airline with 82.8% of departures and 81% of arrivals on schedule.
Virgin Australia’s ATR/F100 operations had the highest cancellation rate with 2.7% while Skywest had the least cancellations with 0.2%
