Tourism Fiji has claimed the appointment of an Australia regional director has underlined the importance of the local market.
Carlah Walton will begin the Australia focused role next week and has senior experience in the regional tourism, wholesale, retail, aviation and hospitality industries.
But Paresh Pant, who previously headed up the Australian market, has left, Tourism Fiji confirmed.
