Brand USA has concluded the final leg of its second mega famil in Dallas-Fort Worth in Texas.

The five groups of agents toured America in separate states and were reunited in Texas, chosen to promote Qantas’ new direct A380 service from Sydney to Dallas-Fort Worth.

47 Australian and New Zealand agents arrived to Fort Worth in the early evening before dinner at Tex-Mex establishment Joe T Garcia’s which served former President Bush.

The group then moved onto the historic stockyards precinct where they witnessed bona fide cowboys lassoing cattle.

From there, it was a short walk to Billy Bob’s, the world’s largest honky tonk, where agents were taught how to line dance and were able to pose with a mechanical bull.

The next day, the group returned to the stock yards to watch the daily cattle muster through the cobbled streets.

Then it was time for sister city Dallas, where agents split into three different activities with a choice of comedy club, food tour and a private suite viewing of an ice hockey match Dallas Stars versus Minnesota Wild at the American Airlines Centre.

The final day of the famil agents visited the AT&T Stadium, home to NFL team Dallas Cowboys, and the largest domed structure in the world, seating 80,000 and costing 1 billion 200 million dollars to build.

Lunch was at Dallas restaurant and live music venue The Rustic, followed by farewell drinks and an evening flight on Qantas’ service to Sydney.
