Uniworld will sail three new ships in Asia in 2013, with the addition of two new ships in China in partnership with Century River Cruises.

Century Legend and Century Paragon will cruise the Yangtze River with Uniworld customers able to benefit from Uniworld’s Signature Suites and “exclusive VIP benefits”.

“We want to continue to offer our clients a diverse portfolio of product throughout the world and to deliver the very best accommodation and experiences these regions have to offer,” general manager John Molinaro said.

Molinaro last week hinted further expansion was on the cards, beyond the addition of the Queen Isabel and River Orchid to its fleet in 2013 (Travel Today, May 30).

The river cruise specialist launched the River Saigon on the Mekong in January 2012, with the River Orchid set to join it in the region in 2013.

Uniworld will launch its new Asia program in June.
