Virgin Australia will deepen its alliance with Singapore Airlines by codesharing on SQ services into Paris and Amsterdam.
The move will see Virgin spread existing France codeshare capacity from its current Australia-Abu Dhabi-Paris codeshare with alliance partner Etihad Airways to the SQ route through Singapore.
“Implementation of services on both routings can be accommodated within Virgin Australia’s current allocation of third country codeshare capacity on France,” the airline said in a submission to the International Air Services Commission.
Virgin has also applied for a seat allocation of 400 seats per week to codeshare on SQ's Australia-Singapore-Amsterdam route.
