Virgin Australia today began its codeshare with Virgin Atlantic between Sydney and Hong Kong.

Merren McArthur, Virgin Australia’s group executive of alliances, network and yield, said the route “complements our network strategy to provide access to the most important international business and leisure destinations from Australia”.
Virgin Atlantic operates daily from Sydney to Hong Kong using an Airbus 340-600.
The two carriers already have reciprocal frequent flyer and lounge access.
