Virgin Australia reported a decline in passenger numbers and load factors in January as a result of its switch to Sabre.
The airline said it imposed load restrictions and reduced inventory during the month in order to ensure a smooth change to its new booking and check-in syste,
Passenger carryings fell more than 5% to 1.55 million, almost all the decline coming in its domestic operation where revenue passenger kilometres fell 1.7% and loads dipped 5.8 percentage points to 73.2%.
On its international network, passenger numbers fell 0.7% to 232,000 and loads dropped 1.9 points to 79.6%.
Virgin said yields were lower than the previous corresponding period.
