Viva! Holidays has urged agents not to make new Virgin Australia bookings in easyway over the weekend as the carrier shifts its booking and check-in systems to Sabre.

Retailers have also been told to ensure Virgin flights within their Viva! booking have been fully paid and ticketed by 5pm today (Friday),

If payment is not received, the booking will be cancelled, the wholesaler warned.

"Further to this cutover, Viva! Holidays will not be creating any new Virgin Australia bookings from 3am (AETD) on Saturday until 9am on Monday January 14, once all system testing has been completed," Viva! said in a trade memo to agents. "We also ask that you hold off creating any new bookings flying Virgin Australia in easyway until Monday morning."

Viva! said that any payment received by credit card or Enett through easyway will update and ticket automatically.

But if payment is made by direct deposit, Enett or Smart Money direct, agents must email the wholesaler the receipt number, also by 5pm today.

Payment details for destinations in Asia should be emailed to asiares@qantasholidays.com.au, South Pacific and New Zealand to pacificres@qantasholidays.com.au and domestic to australiares@qantasholidays.com.au.
