The ‘Welcome China Global Webinar’ will be held today from 11am Sydney time over a twelve-hour period, giving participants the chance to learn more about China’s outbound tourism.

Moving around the globe, more than 50 experts from the tourism industry and government organisations will be involved in highlighting the diversity in China’s tourism through pre-recorded and live interviews, presentations and discussions.

Australia will be presented by Chinese Outbound Tourism Research Institute (COTRI) Country Partner Amplify Me during the Asia Pacific continent section, held between 3.05pm and 3.35pm Sydney time.

Individuals and companies are still able to register free of charge, which will ensure access to all the content following the event.

Recent months have seen some dramatic changes in the growth rates of major Chinese outbound travel destinations, according to COTRI’s director Prof. Dr. Wolfgang George Arlt.

“This development further increases the necessity to look carefully at the situation of China’s outbound tourism in different parts of the world, as will be done for twelve hours non-stop in the Welcome China Global Webinar on Sept. 24,” Arlt said.

Participants will have the chance to get answers directly from the experts during the live Question & Answer section through the live stream chat or through Twitter, using the hashtag #welcomechina.

More details about the Welcome China Global Webinar can be found on the event website www.welcomechinaglobalwebinar.com.
