From its ancient civilisations and world-renowned gastronomy to its jaw-dropping natural wonders and vibrant cities and festivals, South America offers no shortage of reasons to travel.

A new partnership between Bunnik Tours, LATAM Airlines and Sydney Airport is giving advisors plenty more reasons to put the region on clients’ agendas.

The campaign combines Bunnik Tours’ small-group expertise with LATAM’s daily Sydney to Santiago service, while offering advisors the chance to win a 20-day holiday exploring the sights and soul of Peru.

The incentive

The exclusive incentive is open to travel consultants who book an eligible Bunnik Tours South American small group tour between 11 June and 30 September 2026. Each booking earns one entry into the draw and must include a LATAM Airlines Sydney–Santiago flight.

The winner will earn a chance to experience the 20-day Peru Explorer itinerary, including return airfares, valued at $16,370.

It’s an invitation for advisors to familiarise themselves with the culture and contrasts of Peru, a destination lauded for its primal beauty, mountaintop citadels and vibrant traditions.

Worth the journey

South America can be a daunting proposition for first-time visitors. Its sheer size and long-haul travel time makes expert guidance particularly valuable when tackling the wealth of diverse destinations on offer in the region.

With more three decades of experience pioneering small-group travel, Bunnik Tours aims to make complex destinations accessible to Aussie travellers.

The family-owned tour operator recently launched their collection of South American small group tours for 2027, designed to maximise cultural immersion.

These itineraries have been carefully curated to combine iconic sights with meaningful local experiences and are led by knowledgeable guides throughout.

Bunnik Tours’ 20-day Peru Explorer itinerary brings together the experiences that make this destination so compelling, from the Amazon and Andes to ancient Inca sites, vibrant artisan markets and historic cities.

The small group tour covers iconic sights like Colca Canyon, Sacred Valley, Macchu Picchu and the UNESCO World Heritage-listed city of Arequipa, alongside a host of experiences designed to take travellers beyond the well-worn tourist trail.

Guests get a glimpse of local life as they stroll the ancient stone streets of charming mountain villages, spend time in the galleries, cafés and sunny plazas of Cusco and take in views of serene Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world.

Beyond the headline attractions, travellers are treated to a taste of the destination with a mixology class making pisco sour cocktails and a traditional Andean brunch centred around local delicacies.

For advisors, experiencing those details firsthand can make it easier to communicate what makes Peru, and South America more broadly, well worth the journey.

Ease of access

Getting clients to South America is also becoming more effortless.

LATAM Airlines operates daily flights from Sydney to Santiago, connecting travellers to an extensive network throughout South America.

The carrier has enhanced its Premium Business offering with a refreshed and more spacious design, upgraded dining and sustainable amenity kits, all taking inspiration from the flavours and landscapes of South America.

A new Premium Comfort cabin is also due to launch from late 2026 on select routes, including Sydney–Santiago from 2027, while Wi-Fi has been progressively rolled out across the wide body fleet.

With daily Sydney departures and an expanding network across the continent, LATAM is making South America more accessible to Australian travellers.

Paired with Bunnik Tours’ immersive small-group itineraries, the partnership connects clients not just with South America’s most iconic sights, but with the people, culture and experiences that make the journey worthwhile.
