AAT Kings boosts sales team with trio of hires

AAT Kings continues to bolster its sales team with the appointment of three new managers – Desiree Sevinder as sales manager VIC/TAS & Groups, Janeen Harris as QLD sales manager, and Alla Ribeiro as key account Manager ITO,OTA & SEIT.

“We’re committed to investing in and building a strong management team, especially with the recent launch of our small group tours, so we’re thrilled that these talented managers with exceptional industry experience have joined us as we continue to drive sales growth,” Ben Hall, CEO AAT Kings Group.

In her new role as sales manager QLD, Harris is responsible for managing sales leads across the state by connecting agents with the AAT Kings and Inspiring Journey tours their clients love. Bringing more than 16 years of experience across retail, corporate, and wholesal,e including a decade as BDM with Flight Centre and key account roles with Cover-More, she’s passionate about people, travel and creating standout experiences.

“I’m excited to be part of the coach touring industry and look forward to bringing energy, authenticity and a fun approach to the role while building strong relationships and driving results. I’m all about smart sales tools, fun training sessions, and making it easy for our partners to succeed,” she said.

Also joining the AAT Kings sales team is Alla Ribeiro in the role of key account manager ITO, OTA & SEIT where she is responsible for managing and developing relationships with key distribution partners, negotiating agreements and driving sales growth through these channels. With over ten years of industry experience, her career has included a range of positions across the travel industry including Four Points by Sheraton Darling Harbour, Booking.com, Accor, Mantra Group and Hyatt Regency.

On her appointment, Ribeiro said “I’m now excited to be representing AAT Kings and SEIT to connect travellers with unforgettable, authentic experiences across Australia and New Zealand.”

Rounding out the appointments is Desiree Sevinder who joined the Melbourne team as sales manager VIC/TAS & Groups with a core focus on managing group allocations, handling enquiries and bookings as well as driving AAT Kings new Small Group product offering and Inspiring Journeys tours.

“One of the main highlights of my role is being able to get out and connect with agents and travel advisors across Victoria and Tasmania while driving brand awareness of the range of unforgettable experiences AAT Kings offers,” Desiree said.

With more than twenty years of experience across wholesale, retail, and corporate hotel sales, she’s passionate about helping others discover the beauty of Australia and New Zealand.
