AAT Kings and Helloworld Travel have wrapped a five-day national trade road trip, connecting directly with more than 50 travel advisors and consumers across Queensland and New South Wales.
This initiative is part of their ongoing commitment to supporting the travel trade and growing awareness of guided touring across Australia and New Zealand.
Taking place from 25 to 29 May 2026, the initiative saw the AAT Kings team travel more than 1,000km through regional Queensland, the Gold Coast, Northern NSW and the Newcastle, Hunter and Central Coast regions, visiting 20 Helloworld Travel stores and partner locations. Participating locations included Helloworld Ipswich, Helloworld Ballina, Port Macquarie Travel, Helloworld Charlestown, Helloworld Bateau Bay and many more.
At the centre of the road trip was AAT Kings’ newly configured small group touring coach, which served as a travelling showcase for the brand’s growing portfolio of Small Group and Classic Tours across Australia and New Zealand. Throughout the journey, the team engaged with over 50 travel advisors through a series of immersive “Open Coach” experiences, offering firsthand insight into the onboard experience, product updates and destination highlights, while creating valuable opportunities for meaningful face-to-face conversations.
The road trip also featured consumer-facing “Taste of Touring” events, which generated interest among travellers seeking inspiration and advice for future guided holiday experiences.
By bringing the AAT Kings experience directly to local communities and industry partners, the roadtrip reinforced the enduring value of personal connection and hands-on product immersion. The initiative strengthened relationships across the travel trade, increased awareness of AAT Kings’ evolving touring portfolio, and demonstrated the brand’s ongoing commitment to supporting travel advisors at a grassroots level.
“This roadshow alongside Helloworld Travel was about investing in important travel advisor relationships and giving agents the opportunity to experience our product in a hands-on way,” AAT Kings Group CEO Ben Hall said.
“There’s no substitute for getting out into local communities, having conversations face-to-face and helping advisors build confidence in what they sell. By bringing our Small Group Touring coach directly to agents and consumers, we were able to showcase how guided holidays continue to evolve, while creating more opportunities to share product knowledge and ensure travellers have access to expert guidance when planning their next holiday.”
