AAT Kings has made it easier for travel advisors to turn early holiday planning into confident, confirmed bookings with their “Flexible Travel. Made Easy” initiative.

Designed to support both agents and travellers, the initiative gives clients greater flexibility and peace of mind when booking guided holidays across Australia and New Zealand – so every journey can be booked with certainty and travelled with ease.

This comes as domestic travel demand remains steady, with Australians continuing to prioritise travel despite a more cautious spending environment. Against this backdrop, AAT Kings is seeing strong forward momentum, with overall sales for 2026 guided holidays well up year on year, reflecting sustained appetite for travel across both Australia and New Zealand.

At its heart, the “Flexible Travel. Made Easy” initiative is giving customers the freedom to secure their holiday in advance while staying flexible if circumstances change.

This approach is resonating strongly with travellers planning ahead, with AAT Kings reporting a significant increase in bookings year on year across both Small Group tours (+17 per cent) and Classic guided holidays (+15 per cent), as guests look to lock in their plans with added reassurance.

If plans shift before final payment is due, AAT Kings’ Deposit Protection provides added reassurance, offering a travel credit of $200 per person (or equivalent currency), or the value of your tour-only deposit – whichever is lower. This credit is valid for up to five years from the cancellation date and can be used toward a future AAT Kings journey.

Travellers can also make changes to eligible bookings, including travel dates, itineraries, or destinations, helping ensure plans can evolve without losing value on the land portion of their trip. In situations where travel is significantly impacted and no suitable alternative can be arranged, customers may also be eligible for a refund on the land component of their holiday.

“Travellers now more than ever want the confidence to lock in their plans early, but with the reassurance that plans can be revised if things change,” AAT Kings group CEO Ben Hall said. “‘Flexible Travel. Made Easy’ is designed to meet that need, giving customers clarity at the time of booking and practical flexibility if their circumstances evolve.”

“We’re seeing that even in the current climate, the desire to travel remains strong. Guests are booking earlier and in greater numbers, particularly across Small Group and Classic touring, but they want the confidence that comes with knowing their plans can adapt if needed.”

Backed by more than a century of experience, AAT Kings continues to deliver expertly guided journeys across Australia and New Zealand, combining seamless logistics, upfront costs, premium coach travel, and immersive local experiences. Every detail is carefully managed so guests can focus on the journey itself.
