AAT Kings is making it easier for travel agents to navigate and promote Australian travel experiences with the launch of new resources supporting its ‘AAT Kings Meets Train’ program.
The initiative brings together iconic rail journeys with AAT Kings’ expert-guided tours, offering combined itineraries that help showcase the best of Australia. To support agents in understanding and selling this offering, AAT Kings has created a helpful guide and released a new episode of its A-LISTERS podcast, focused on the ‘AAT Kings Meets Train’ program.
The goal is to empower agents with the knowledge and tools they need to confidently present these unique travel options to their clients, to make travelling around this vast but beautiful country as accessible as possible to both agent and client. The guide breaks down key itinerary pairings, while the podcast features expert insights, destination tips, and selling strategies to make promoting these journeys simple and effective.
“These handpicked combinations take the stress out of the logistics around itinerary planning for agents while giving travellers a richer, more seamless and more scenic experience,” AAT Kings Group CEO Ben Hall said. “These offerings add a new layer to the AAT Kings coach touring experience, which we know is appealing for its ability to allow travellers to sit back and enjoy their travel experience, with freedom, and without having to get bogged down in the planning and details.”

The ‘AAT Kings Meets Train’ program features pre-designed travel combinations pairing guided tours with Australia’s most iconic rail experiences – including The Ghan, the Indian Pacific, and the Great Southern. Whether it’s stepping off The Ghan in Darwin and joining the Outback Adventure or pairing an Adelaide to Kangaroo Island tour with the Indian Pacific rail journey, these itineraries offer agents and their clients a seamless and scenic way to experience Australia.
Both the new guide and podcast episode are now available on the AAT Kings agent portal and the A-LIST ACCESS website, offering a central hub of resources to make selling this initiative easier than ever.
